Living Room came after a couple amazing trips across the country playing gigs, house concerts, and hooking up with all sorts of musicians that I might not have met “stoking the star maker machinery” in LA. I recorded it mostly in my living room back home, but also in Jackson, Mississippi, a campground in Ohio, and in George Herbert Moore’s trailer in Burgaw, North Carolina. The Septuagenarian blues man taught me so much, that I had to put a little of our jams on here to spice things up. He’s truly a joy and I think this album captured a bit of that spirit over a myriad of topics. The most intimate disc I’ve ever done.
