Books on Amazon.com

In addition to the Black Body, there are two other books that feature my writing or profile on Amazon.

Voices from Leimert Park is a poetry anthology that includes one my lyrics.   It centers around the great community that grew from the World Stage in Leimert Park, founded by Kamau Daaood and jazz drummer, Billy Higgins.

Skin Deep is a collection of features on biracial Americans, written by the late Marianne Ruuth.  Marianne was a Swedish writer who fell in with a lot of African American entertainers in the late 50’s and chronicled many of the greats of music and film in several biographies as well as being a novelist and member of the Hollywood Foreign Press.  She became a huge booster and great friend after interviewing me for this book.
